Good Omens?

        Oh dear, what can the matter be?
        Heaven and Hell are awaiting catastrophe;
        Barring the two who had started to disagree
        Everyone thought it was fair.

    When Heaven and Hell have their last taradiddle
    The people on Earth just get squashed in the middle.
    An angel and demon thought this was a fiddle
    And tried very hard to play fair.

    The demon was Crowley, the angel Aziraphel,
    They'd an arrangement that suited them very well;
    Each helped the other regardless of Heav'n or Hell,
    Both of them thought that quite fair.

        Chorus:

    The night of the birthing, the Satanist Ladies
    Got into a muddle when swapping the babies
    And gave the wrong mother the Child of Hades
    And never knew who had gone where.

    The Heavenly Force waited for Armageddon,
    The signs had appeared and the timing was dead-on,
    The army of demons was starting to threaten
    But who knew which child had gone where?

        Chorus:

    Warlock was brought up the was that that pair devised,
    Being by angels and demons alike advised;
    Nobody noticed that Adam's the Antichrist
    'Til he decided what's fair!

    Only the Them could stop this dissolution
    By challenging Famine, War, Death and Pollution,
    And somehow they carried out their resolution
    So everything ended up fair.

        Chorus:
